The key organisations involved in this project are the Epidemiology and Disease Control Division, Nepal Health Research Council, and Kaski District Public Health Office within the Department of Health Services, Ministry of Health and Population, and the Central Regional Livestock Directorate, the Central Veterinary Laboratory (CVL) and the Kaski District Livestock Service Office (DLSO) within the Department of Livestock Services, Ministry of Agricultural Development. Other non-ministerial organisations that are contributing to this project include Child Health and Environment Save Society Nepal, Purbanchal University, and the Walter Reed AFRIMS Research Unit Nepal, the Armed Forces Research Institute of Medical Sciences (AFRIMS).
